When our son, Charleston (CJ), was 5 months old, he developed bacterial
meningitis. Luckily for us he survived with only a hearing loss in his left
ear. Bacterial meningitis was something we had never heard of at that time. We
had decided we wanted to help promote awareness about this deadly infection so
we designed this very special bracelet.
